Historic Renovations

Historical renovation requires a strong leader. Knabuilders hasn't become a leader by accident. We have become a leader by having no accidents. That means all decisions and actions must be fully understood and executed. That all requirements for historic property renovation are met, including local, state and federal historical criteria, insurance, permits and materials. We then have the craftsmen to begin on the job at hand. In our many years of experience we have gained extensive knowledge on how an old historical property is built. We have forged relationships with vendors, suppliers and ancillary companies who specialize in historic properties. Knabuilders has all the ingredients for a successful renovation.

We were proud to be a part of the many phases of the rehabilitation of this historical monument.  Worked on the exterior and other aspects of the building during the last decade of renovations.  Followed strict historical guidelines, cataloging every piece of wood removed for replacement to exact locations.

>> Buffalo Hostel-Niagara

Shored from the basement to the 4th floor, penetrating all floors to install an elevator shaft.  Included all the structural beams and temporary supports for the renovation.  We also drywalled the entire building installing fire separation to all the dorm rooms.
